Our leadership team
Luis Navas, CEO
Luis joined Conexia as CEO in 2000 and continues in that role today. He has successfully guided the company through a period of rapid growth. Prior to joining Conexia he led a distinguished 20 year career with IMPSA, the flagship company of the Pescarmona Group.During his career he has lived and worked in the USA, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Beijing. He holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional de San Juan, Argentina and a PMD from Harvard Business School. Luis is fluent in six languages including Mandarin which he learnt during his 9 years living in China. He now lives in Buenos Aires with his wife and three children.
Sebastián Letemendía, COO
As COO at Conexia, Sebastián overseas the day-to-day operations of all our offices. He joined the company in 2000 having previously worked as finance manager for the Pescarmona Group and as VP at Chase Manhattan and ING Bearing banks. Sebastián has a BA from Universidad de Buenos Aires and a MBA from Wharton School of Business in the USA. He is fluent in five languages. As a photographer and author, Sebastian has published six books including a guide to windsurfing and a photographical representation of Buenos Aires. He is also a keen mountaineer who has climbed several challenging peaks.Alfredo Semeniuk, Sales Director
Alfredo is responsible for commercial relations with existing and new clients, including all the major healthcare insurers in Argentina. Alfredo commenced his professional career at IMPSA, which he joined in 1991. He participated in the launch of Conexia in 1996, and has been involved in all customer implementations since then. As an Electronic Technician by trade and a self-confessed gadget fanatic, Alfredo always enjoys the opportunity to tinker with new technologies. He owns a music collection of more than 1000 albums and a fast growing DVD collection.Dino Ronconi, Project Manager
Dino is responsible for project management and infrastructure at Conexia, which includes the industry leading platform processing over 1.5 million transactions per month. He joined Conexia in 2001 and has helped manage the rapid growth of staff and systems during this period. He studied Systems at CAECE. When he is not managing projects for Conexia or at home with his family, you'll probably find Dino out on the water. He is a keen sailor with many years experience and has recently started surfing.Silvana Lema, CFO
Silvana has been CFO at Conexia since 2005. Prior to this she worked at PriceWaterhouse Coopers. She is a qualified accountant with a CPA from Universidad de Buenos Aires. Silvana loves to travel and perhaps harbors a secret desire to work in a circus. She practices the unusual sport of aerial silk acrobatics.Virginia Carena, HR Manager
Virginia is responsible for Conexia's HR team which includes staff recruitment and development. She has helped nurture the Conexia culture as the company has grown to over 100 staff in three locations. Before joining Conexia Virginia worked at CIE a leading multi-national in the entertainment industry. She holds a degree in Human Resources from Universidad de Palermo in Buenos Aires.Mariela Blanc, Comercial Manager
Mariela is the Commercial Manager at Conexia and is responsible for the sales, marketing and field support teams. She joined Conexia in 2004 having previously worked at Comsoft and Microsoft. She holds a degree in marketing from Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE).
